Sonic The Hedgehog's Metal Virus-Inspired Liquid Effect In Blender

Check out Lukasz Borges' take on Metal Sonic.

Lukasz Borges, specializing in robot and anime-inspired 3D art, recently shared a test inspired by a scene from the Metal Virus arc in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. The liquid-like metallic substance, which responds to a finger's touch, was created using dynamic painting and metaballs, commonly used for simulating fluids, gooey materials, and similar effects.
