Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, shared on their Discord that they are working on an offline mode for the game. The creators promised to include this feature in a free update following its release in February.

"We're happy to confirm we are planning to add an offline story mode that will give players the option to experience the main campaign without an internet connection," reads the official statement from the developer. "We're planning to provide this update in 2024 and will provide more details when available."

Even without the offline mode, players have the option to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League alone. In this case, bots will take control of the other characters, allowing players to switch between heroes. However, it is important to note that an internet connection is still required to play the game, even in this mode.

Also, during The Game Awards, Rocksteady unveiled a trailer for the game, teasing a battle between the Suicide Squad and Batman. The trailer hinted that Batman will employ hallucinogenic gas against the Squad, setting the stage for an intense encounter.

After several delays, the game will come out on February 2, 2024, and become available for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
