Team Fortress 2 Increases Max Player Count to 100 Players

Valve's latest update to the game brings anarchy.

Team Fortress 2 received a new update that boost the game's action. The latest version of the game increased the max player count from 32 to 100, which kind of makes the whole game crazy.

The game launched on October 10, 2007, quickly becoming one of the golden standards for multiplayer shooters. The thing is that Valve hasn't changed much since its release 16 years ago – they didn't add crazy skins, new out-of-the-blue modes, or something like that. They didn't even enter the battle royale market when the whole trend began.

Now, the game's starting to change. Yes, 16 years later the studio is making serious changes. Rather than staying a 32-player game, Team Fortress 2 will now support up to 100 people. There's one thing though. That's not a new standard for the game and the developer says the new mode is "unsupported and not recommended."

Among other things, the update also introduced fixes for Saxton Hale’s weapons and dealt with some persistent crashing issues, plus servers are now getting bigger.

The game's fans have already started testing the mode getting chaotic results. Check out one of the examples below:
