Its Got Stealth showcased scenes and newly implemented features to Samurai Unicorn.
Its Got Stealth
At the end of the year, being nostalgic and looking back seems right to the sentiment. So today, let's have a look at the new features and location showcases of Samurai Unicorn, an upcoming action horror game with a PS1-style and cyberpunk vibes created by Its Got Stealth team.
If you missed our first article about the game from last year, Samurai Unicorn is set in the sprawling megacity of Sydney3. This game puts you in the shoes of Klo Mitchells, a young detective who unwillingly becomes a host for a parasitic gauntlet. This symbiotic connection grants Klo the power to combat the growing threat spreading throughout the city's lower levels. You'll need to engage in both gunplay and melee combat, explore various VRmin-infested locations, and battle eerie monsters that react differently depending on how you choose to hunt them.

It's been a while since we last covered its development progress in March, and recently, the team has made more exciting new features and milestones. And from the shared clips and demos, we're able to learn more about the scenes and locations like the Big Bad's penthouse and the S3PF Command, a high-octane boss fight, the newly added save system, how the game hints you the right direction to look at with the running rats, as well as a bit of ambush and jump scares:
2024 is a fruitful year for the team. Besides the above-mentioned new features, the developers also released the full Goliath Offices demo with the first boss fight, worked on fully populating a new hub area with unique NPCs, and started developing the VRmin Hunt side missions.
The game's demo is currently available for supporters on Patreon. So far, the project is still in development and a release date is to be announced. If you don't want to miss out on its launch, don't hesitate to add it to your Steam wishlist.
