UModeler X Plus 1.0 Is Officially Released

The UModeler team is introducing UModeler X Plus 1.0, marking a significant milestone in 3D content creation for Unity developers.

UModeler X, a versatile solution that provides real-time 3D Modeling, Texturing, and Rigging within Unity, boosts productivity with unique features such as SketchUp-style modeling, Hotspot Texturing, and Normal Painting, among others.

Building on the success of the Early Bird release in September, the team has refined and expanded the toolset to offer a robust modeling solution. UModeler X Plus 1.0 is now on the market at $199, with a special upgrade price of $99 available for existing UModeler users.

UModeler will be offered at special discounted prices during the following three major sales:

  • Black Friday/Cyber Week Sale: November 20, 2024, 9pm PT - December 11, 2024, 8am PT
    December 10: 70% off (Flash Deal)
    December 11: 60% off
  • New Year Sale: December 18, 2024, 8am PT - January 10, 2025, 8am PT
    Discount: 50% off

During these sale periods, customers have the opportunity for substantial savings. To benefit from the discount, users must first purchase UModeler and then upgrade to UModeler X Plus in that specific sequence. Here's a breakdown of the savings:

  • During 70% Flash Deal (Dec. 10): UModeler ($37.5) + upgrade to X Plus ($99) = $136.5 (31% less than buying X Plus alone)
  • During 60% Off (Dec. 11): UModeler ($50) + upgrade to X Plus ($99) = $149 (25% less than buying X Plus alone)
  • During 50% Off Period: UModeler ($62.5) + upgrade to X Plus ($99) = $161.5 (19% less than buying X Plus alone)

New Features and Improvements

In addition to the existing features, UModeler X Plus 1.0 introduces new functionalities and enhancements to further streamline the modeling process. These include: Normal Painting (released in October), Humanoid Avatar support, Enhanced Display/Debug/Snap Settings UI, Separate Parts Tool, Offline use capability.

Development Updates

To provide transparency regarding the development progress, the UModeler team has outlined some key updates in the pipeline:

  • The Line tool has been moved to the Add group and renamed to the Knife tool
  • A new Poly Line tool will soon be added to the Drawing group.
  • Hotspot texturing will initially align with current UModeler capabilities
  • Real-time UV updates for Hotspot texturing are set to be implemented through updates throughout the remainder of 2024
