Alaloth 1.0 has been released on Steam.
If you are looking for a new retro RPG to play, do check out Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms, an award-winning isometric souls-like RPG with hack-and-slash elements.
Joked as the "baby" of "Baldur's Gate and Dark Souls" by developers at Gamera Interactive, Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms invites players to step into the shoes of a mighty champion to navigate through dangerous dungeons, battle with formidable bosses, and uncover the ancient secrets that lie in the brutal world of Plamen.
The game features a hardcore combat system that boasts "brand-new isometric gameplay, featuring spectacular moves in challenging fights against various enemies." A careless move could be fatal and result in death. Players who have been enjoying the title have praised the tough yet natural and fun combat, which involves dodge and parry mechanics.

The developer of the title, Gamera Interactive, has been up and running since September 2016. The studio was founded by industry veterans who had been working with big publishers (Midway, Eidos, Bethesda, among others) and development studios (Milestone). During the early period of the project's development, they joined us to talk about the pipeline for prototyping and working with environments and assets for the game.
The game was released in Early Access two years ago, and its 1.0 version was released last month. The developer has teased that a detailed roadmap for new content, such as features, improvements, and more supported languages, will be released soon. If you enjoy its concept and gameplay, don't hesitate to check it out on Steam or visit the game's official account on X/Twitter to learn more.
