The creator's art style is truly one-of-a-kind.
Three years ago, almost to the day, 3DCG Artist known as Hewa first caught our attention with his impressive "Day-to-day learning" series, a collection of NPR artworks showcasing a unique, painterly art style. Proving that perfection knows no limits and that there's always room for growth, the "learning" continues over a thousand days later, with Hewa presenting yet another stunning piece that makes you question the boundaries of 3D art.
Portraying two konbini clerks gazing out from the store, the artist's latest project draws its "awesomeness factor" from being cold, muted, desaturated, and paired with an eerie soundtrack that evokes the chilling atmosphere of Japanese horror movies, similar to one of his works we featured back in January. As always, Hewa used Blender to create the scene and shared a viewport shot to confirm that, yes, it's indeed 3D:
