A Bioshock Infinite-Style London Environment Made in Unreal

Check out this amazing group project, that imagines London in Bioshock Infinite style.

Back in 2021, a group of 8 MA students at Escape Studios has managed to create an amazing scene, that reimagines London as a DLC for Bioshock Infinite. The resulting scene features tons of unique assets, many procedural and hand-made buildings, great visual effects, and an unmatchable Bioshock vibe. According to the team, the entire project was made in Unreal Engine 4, Maya, Substance 3D Painter and Designer, ZBrush, and Blender.

The team of artists responsible for this amazing project includes Matt Lamb, Kostas "KC" Ch., Triston Beadle, Emily Dervey, Kaan Yasa, Josef McGrath, Firina A Farah Diba, and Joshua LeBrun. Each of them was responsible for their own task and you can check out the artists' ArtStation pages to learn more about every aspect of this project.

3D Environment Artist Matthew Lamb, who was responsible for level design, modular architecture, signage, lighting, and post-process, has also released several breakdown images, explaining the working process behind the scene's blockout, lighting, and more. You can check them out by visiting the author's ArtStation page linked above.

We highly encourage you to visit the artists' ArtStation pages to learn more about the project. Also, don't forget to join our new Reddit pageour new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
