The demo was made by Adobe's Wes McDermott, Nikie Monteleone, and Gio Nakpil.

In case you missed it, during the Substance Day keynote at GDC 2023, the Adobe Substance 3D team announced that they are partnering with Epic Games, promising to develop special versions of the Substance 3D Painter and Modeler applications for creators from Fab, Epic's recently-revealed unified marketplace, and revealed that they are working on a customized bundle and Fab plug-in to enable Digital Artists and Developers to "experience the magic of Substance 3D" in Unreal Editor for Fortnite.

Following the announcement, Technical Artist and Creative Producer at Adobe Wes McDermott also released an impressive demo, showcasing how the Substance 3D tools work with UEFN. According to Wes, the demo was created in collaboration with Adobe's Nikie Monteleone and Gio Nakpil using the company's Painter and Modeler applications, as well as Epic new editor.
