The company unveiled the real-life watch, inspired by the in-game item, which is included in the Constellation Edition of Starfield.
During the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Bethesda unveiled an official gameplay trailer for its upcoming sci-fi RPG Starfield, offering an extensive glimpse into the game and reassuring fans that the game's scheduled release date of September 6 remains unchanged.
Additionally, as part of the event, the company announced a special edition of the game, called the Constellation Edition, which, among other things, includes a real and functional watch designed after the one featured in the game.
According to Bethesda, it aimed to create an authentic feel with the wristwatch, resembling the in-game HUD item. The watch can also connect to your phone, and it comes with a special case inspired by the Apollo era sample return cases used for lunar samples. The case includes a unique latch, a patch, a watch band, and the watch itself.
As stated on the Gamestop store page, the Constellation Edition is priced at $299.99 and offers the added benefit of five days of early access to Starfield.
The Constellation Edition features the Starfield Base Game, the Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release), the Constellation Skin Pack (including the Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet, and Boost Pack), access to the Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack, a Steelbook Case, a Constellation Patch, a Starfield Chronomark Watch and Case, and a Credit Stick with a laser-etched game code.
