#Blocktober: Level Design in A Plague Tale Requiem

Laura Mas Maury, a Level Designer at Asobo Studio who worked on the 2022 action-adventure A Plague Tale: Requiem, has taken part in this year's #Blocktober, an unofficial annual event dedicated to level design, presenting some insightful behind-the-scenes screenshots and offering a closer look at level art in Requiem.

Shared via Twitter, Laura's screenshots demonstrate some early WIP blockouts from the game and compare them to their finished versions. In addition, the artist provided some interesting comments regarding the production process, which revealed that it was paramount for the team to be careful with art and gameplay elements so as not to damage the environments' identities, discussed the challenges the team faced, and more.
