Check Out a New VR Zombie Shooter for PSVR 2 and Quest

Arizona Sunshine 2 will immerse players in a zombie apocalypse, where they will have the loyal company of their four-legged friend, Buddy, as they battle against hordes of zombies.

Vertigo Games, a VR studio and publisher best known for titles such as Arizona Sunshine and After the Fall, recently revealed an extensive trailer for Arizona Sunshine 2, giving us a first look at the PC VR gameplay of the upcoming game.

Set to be released on December 7 for PSVR 2, PC VR, and Meta Quest headsets, Arizona Sunshine 2 is the much-anticipated sequel to one of VR's earliest influential titles. The game's new gameplay trailer shows footage captured entirely on Quest 2, revealing visual differences compared to previous footage. Despite noticeable downgrades, the Quest version still looks good.

An intriguing aspect of the trailer is that the gameplay was captured on Quest 2, not Quest 3. Although Vertigo Games initially announced improved resolution for Quest 3, additional enhancements will come at a later date. In a post-launch update scheduled for later in December, real-time shadows on dynamic objects will be added for Quest 3.

The trailer also reveals the game's new features, such as the use of a canine companion, Buddy, for attacking zombies and solving puzzles, as well as realistic weapon reloading and melee options. Arizona Sunshine 2 will also offer full cross-platform multiplayer, including a two-player co-op campaign mode and an endless 2-4-player Horde mode, with extra horde maps to be added post-launch.

As for now, you can pre-purchase the game on Steam and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on InstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
