Check Out The Latest Footage From This Relaxing Toys Exploration Game

Solo developer ShawnTheMiller has unveiled more captivating footage from the fun exploration game, Omochapon.

Twitter user ShawnTheMiller, the solo developer behind the fun casual game Omochapon, has shared new footage illustrating how the game has evolved in the month since our last coverage.

If you're unfamiliar with Omochapon, it is a relaxing exploration game that invites players to open balls reminiscent of Pokémon, revealing a new toy inside each time. Possible finds include a cute little car, a playful, spring-bottomed bunny, a stunt-ready skateboard, or even a mini transformer car available in a multitude of skins, and more. You might even find a woodlouse that can curl into a ball and roll around. The element of surprise makes the game truly addictive.

The new footage shared by the developer offers us further insight into the additional toys you can uncover from the balls as well as the gameplay. Let's take a closer look:

The release of the game on the Nintendo Switch is imminent, although a precise date remains unconfirmed yet. When asked about a potential PC release, the developer stated, "I’m a solo dev so for now the focus is getting it out on the Switch then can look beyond that." We will continue tracking the progress of this promising indie game. For latest updates, you can follow the developer or the game directly on Twitter.
