Wes McDermott, renowned for his detailed tutorials on Adobe Substance 3D products, one of which we featured on 80 Level last month, has revealed a preview of his custom dithering effect for Photoshop, created using Substance 3D Designer.
This and his other embroidery filter were created using Parametric Filters, a new toolset introduced in Photoshop last year, which is powered by Substance 3D materials. It allows users to build custom graphs in Substance 3D Designer and export them to Photoshop as filters. If you missed this, here's a quick overview from Wes himself:
