Deleting Your Facebook Account Removes Oculus Purchases

Users revealed a new detail of the merging policy of Facebook and Oculus products.

If you want to deactivate or delete your account on Facebook, be aware that you will loose  your Oculus information, too.

You won’t be able to access  Oculus products if you choose to deactivate the account or lose any app purchases when deleting your page permanently. Such a detail was revealed by one of the users, CixLiv on Twitter. When the user goes to the settings and picks one of the ways to suspend a Facebook account, there will be a disclaimer of further changes to user’s Oculus access and purchases.

Facebook has acquired Oculus in 2014 and took a merging policy a while ago by rebranding the annual Oculus Connect conference and using Facebook accounts to log in to the Oculus app.
