Developer Revealed PvP Mode To Be Added to Palworld Later This Year

Extra tasks are coming to your hardworking, overworked Pals.

Wednesday's Triple-I Initiative showcase brought one piece of good news after another. This time, it's about this year's indie gaming sensation, Palworld.

The game is set to enrich its gameplay experience with the introduction of an Arena Player vs. Player (PvP) mode later this year.

With a staggering player base of over 25 million, Palworld's new PvP mode, aptly named Pal Arena, will allow players to pit themselves and their 'Pals' against other players. The objective is simple yet challenging: train the strongest Pals and defeat all rivals.

The new mode was teased in a short video during the showcase: 

Given Palworld's large player base and existing multiplayer support, the introduction of PvP mode seems a logical and highly anticipated next step. 

In a recent post on the game's official Twitter account, the developers clarified when the PvP feature will be available, revealing a major update packed with new content set for release this summer: 

This may suggest that the PvP mode might not be ready by summer. However, the scheduled update is still exciting news.
