If you are a fan of trains, simulator games, and the Soviet atmosphere, here's a cool upcoming game from a Polish developer Pentacle that ticks all the boxes and would most likely be a perfect time-sinking gaming experience for you.
Check out Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator, a soon-to-be-launched railway operator game that puts you in the driver's seat of a classic Soviet-era VL10 locomotive and tasks you to make your way through the Siberian wilderness, overcoming obstacles such as hunger, thirst, engine malfunctions, bandits, wild animals, and corrupt militia along the way.

Fueled by Unreal Engine, Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator offers a dynamic weather system with the day/night cycle, a comprehensive survival system with such stats as hunger, thirst, alcohol, hangover, disease, and hypothermia, and an extensive 220 km route faithfully recreated at a 1:1 scale.
Along the journey, you'll constantly manage and replace wearing locomotive parts, fulfill orders, undertake both legal and illegal tasks to earn money, utilize weapons for hunting and self-defense, and purchase essentials like food, tools, weapons, and ammunition.
