Are you still waiting for Bloodborne on PC? Well, you will have to wait a bit longer, but it might be closer than you fear. The team behind the Shadps4 PS4 emulator reached an important milestone by managing to load the game, although it is impossible to play it for now. They also shared some in-game screenshots.
Before, they could only access the menu and character screen, but this seemingly small progress is actually quite important for the emulator, and I believe it will boost the development further.
Aside from Bloodborne, the team is working on porting other games to and from PlayStation, including Red Dead Redemption, the Tomb Raider remasters, and KickBeat. You can follow the progress on its YouTube channel.
Will we ever get the official Bloodborne on PC? One report claims FromSoftware was developing PC and PlayStation 5 versions of the game, although nothing eventually came out of it.
But who knows, maybe the studio will hear fans' pleas one day as Hidetaka Miyazaki says he is "not opposed to" the port. However, we will not likely see it any time soon because FromSoftware "has nothing to say" about Bloodborne now.
