Enjoy Cute, Chaotic & Silly Combats in This Action Adventure

You can also play with or against your friends in co-op and versus game modes.

Onirism, a vibrant action-adventure game developed by France-based indie studio Crimson Tales in Unity, brings a unique blend of cute, humorous design and engaging gameplay that might remind you of titles like Bioshock Infinite, A Hat in Time, or Serious Sam.

Onirism

In Onirism, you become Carol, a spirited and imaginative little girl on a mission to retrieve her stolen Bunbun plushie. One night, a strange portal appears in your bedroom, and you find yourself chasing a mysterious creature into the fantastical world of Crearia.

Although still in early access, Onirism already offers seven chapters and 14 different levels for you to explore, accompanied by over two hundred unique weapons and gadgets, and hidden bonus levels to find. Adding to the fun, you can also play with or against your friends in co-op and versus game modes.

Crimson Tales has big plans for the full version of Onirism where you can expect:

  • Discover the 10 chapters of the game, split in 20 unique looking levels
  • Unlock hundreds of weapons and discover abilities for Carol in a metroidvania fashion
  • Find all the secrets hidden deep inside Crearia
  • Play with or against your friends in a variety of co-op and versus gamemodes

Through some fascinating footage shared by the developer on Twitter, we can see various features, combat scenes, a special game mode, and more:

An umbrella can be a cool weapon to use in the game — it can be used to slash enemies or help you shield out attacks:

The game has garnered 90% positive reviews since it launched. And a player with 300+ gameplay time commented:

"I've put enough hours into this game to confidently say it is very cute and very funny. Rough around the edges being that it's early access, but already a solid game with tons to do, and each update so far has only made it better."
