Learn How to Make Colorful Laser Beam VFX in 1 Minute

You don't have an excuse not to learn how to make a laser beam VFX now that Mingwei Lim, also known as CMZW or celestialmaze, released a 1-minute tutorial on how to make it using Clip Studio Paint and After Effects.

In this rapid-fire video, you'll see what maps, noises, and modifiers you need to apply to create a beautiful ray of light and power.

Start with exporting PNG sequences from Clip Studio Paint, apply a base layer, glow, another base layer, the Fast Box Blur effect, and more layers for the initial energy ball. Then use a gradient and some Fractal Noises for the background.
