The developer's digital liquids can now be teleported from one point to another.
AR/VR Game Developer and Co-Founder of a development studio Alientrap Games Lee Vermeulen continues working on his upcoming Unity-powered liquid physics puzzle game for AR, codenamed Hydrolab, and sharing majestic-looking WiP demos along the way.
This week, the developer awed us by adding portals to the game, which enable the player to teleport the Zibra Effects-made liquids from one point to another in a physically-correct manner. According to Lee, the feature is currently in its earliest stages of development, with more improvements, such as the ability to grab stuff inside portals, planned to be implemented in the future. The demo was captured on the Varjo XR-3 headset.
