If making your Pokémon fight for you is not enough power for your ambitions, you'll be glad to hear that Palworld, a bizarre multiplayer survival game by Pocketpair, finally has a release date. The "Pokémon with guns" will open its doors for creature exploitation on January 19.

In case you've missed it, Palworld lets you collect a bunch of colorful Pals from around the open world and equip them with missile launchers or other fun stuff if you wish. Then you can make them fight, breed, build, farm, and work in factories – what else do you need in this capitalistic world?
This game can elicit the darkest tyrannical urges from you, and it's okay: everyone needs to survive somehow... "Don't worry; labor laws won't be applied to Pals," says the developer, and that's all you need to know about this experience.

"This world is full of dangers such as food shortages, harsh weather, and illegal poachers. You must be prepared to do anything if you want to survive. You may even need to consume Pals sometimes..."

You can explore the land, the sea, and the sky in Palworld, but breeding is probably the most interesting part for those of us who play The Sims to enjoy gene-crossing. Pals inherit the parents' characteristics and add more units to your workforce – a perfect mix.
