Larian says there won't be any stock shortages.

Larian Studios recently announced a physical Deluxe Edition for Baldur's Gate 3, complete with a map, stickers, patches, and more. The pack costs $79.99, however, some people decided that selling the boxes for much more money is a great business idea, so now there are Deluxe Editions on eBay sold for $200 and $300.
This might have been smart: buying stuff for a low price and selling it for a higher one when the official store runs out can be a viable, if not honorable, option. The problem is the Deluxe Edition is not a Limited Edition, so there is little chance Larian won't be able to provide enough packages for the fans.

As noted by PC Gamer, Baldur's Gate 3 Collector's Editions are actually sold out and you can buy them from resellers for $500 or even crazier money, but Deluxe Editions are fine and will stay this way, according to Larian's director of publishing Michael Douse.
"Just FYI the Deluxe Edition is not a limited edition and stock is holding steady, with more waves being prepared within the Q1 2024 shipping window, so if you see them online being resold based on confirmed preorders at higher prices, skip it. There won’t be stock scarcity," he said on X/Twitter.
The studio "blitzed past" a minimum order, and the Q1 shipping window was set to let it increase wave sizes if needed. So don't worry about being late for the party, it doesn't seem to end any time soon.
The Deluxe Edition for PS5, Xbox, and PC is already available for pre-order and includes the disc (or several in case of consoles), the game's soundtrack, a world map, 32 stickers with Origin characters and D&D monsters, 2 patches, and a mind flayer poster. Learn more here.
