Red Square Games released an announcement trailer for SlavicPunk: Oldtimer – an upcoming isometric shooter about a private investigator with a troubled past based on the works of Polish writer Michał Gołkowski.
The protagonist, Yanus, is trying to solve a stolen data case fighting his inner demons at the same time along with gangs and a corporation responsible for the decay of the city.
SlavicPunk: Oldtimer offers solid combat, a modular weapon upgrade system, action-packed levels with stealth elements, hacking, and puzzle solving. You will also get a chance to slowly explore the dark city and enjoy engaging storytelling.
The developers promise a "sharp, caustic sense of humour and a slightly pessimistic outlook at the neon-grey shades of the surrounding reality", all with a Slavic flavor.
"SlavicPunk story goes to show that there is more than meets the eye to this dystopian version of the future is, and it is only up to the players to discover what lies beneath the neon glow and the concrete streets – helping Yanus unravel his last case and find out just how brutal and ugly the truth may actually be."
