The Journey of Spider-Man Imagined In a Series of Stylized 3D Concepts

Here's a collection of outstanding NPR renders created by Mariano Tazzioli.

Mariano Tazzioli, a skilled Character Artist who previously worked on Love, Deaths + Robots' Jibaro episode and Oscar-winning short movie The Windshield Wiper, has recently shared one more look at their delightful series of stylized 3D concepts that imagine Spider-Man's early days.

In a recent blog post shared on ArtStation, the artist shared that their love for the character, Marvel, and the animation world were the driving forces behind the project. Mariano further stated that even though it was started around 2020-2021 and is nearing its third birthday, the project is still ongoing, meaning that we'll most likely see even more incredible works further down the line.

Moreover, the creator explained why creating these 3D renders is a time-intensive endeavor, saying that the main goal is to make sure that the viewer can understand what is happening in the image from the get-go. According to Mariano, every artistic decision is carefully planned and considered, with no random elements being put on the screen.

Doing this project is really time-consuming as I design all from start to finish, from the composition to the lighting to the character designs to the posing, etc.," commented the creator. "Still is an ongoing project as I really enjoy getting into these fantastic worlds and creating renders for them, each time I get to know better what works in this style and what does not."

We highly encourage you to visit Mariano's ArtStation page to check out the entire series. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on InstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
