The Lord of the Rings' Argonath Recreated in VR With UE5.1

The creator utilized Megascans and hand-made assets to set up the scene.

Game Developer and VR enthusiast known as Alex 23 Analyse has presented a fantastic VR recreation of The Argonath landmark, a.k.a. The Gate of Kings, as depicted in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings movies, made using the latest version of Unreal Engine – UE5.1.

Created with Megascans, Yunus Emre Geldi's Argonath model, and hand-made assets, the scene uses Unreal Engine 5.1's Lumen and Nanite, enabling the artist to fully translate the original movie environment's massive scale. According to Alex, the scene runs at around 50 FPS on an RTX 3080 GPU.
