The Most Creative Way to Delete the Default Cube in Blender

Michael P. demonstrated a stunning melting butter simulation powered by Geometry Nodes.

3D Blender Artist Michael P., a.k.a. Pyronimous, has recently participated in this year's #Nodevember, an unofficial annual event that celebrates the work of Procedural Artists, demonstrating a mind-blowing project that can only be described as the most creative way to delete the default cube in Blender.

Powered by Blender's Geometry Nodes toolset, Pyronimous' new project depicted a realistic simulation of melting butter and was specifically created for #Nodevember's fourth theme, "Chaotic Cooking". According to Michael, the melting butter project "doesn't involve any real world-like physics simulation" and was designed to move, rotate, and "melt" in a completely arbitrary manner.

The creator has also shared a couple of behind-the-scenes shots demonstrating the setup:
