They Are Here: Alien Abduction Horror will be published by PQube.
Occasionally, we hear new proof that aliens do exist and might have visited our planet already with alleged traces. But before we have an official meeting with them, we can practice it, like interacting with them in a virtual world through video games.
They Are Here: Alien Abduction Horror gives us such a proper chance. It’s a first-person narrative horror game developed by a couple who are big fans of alien horror movies. Recently, the game has received a new trailer to announce its official partnership with publisher PQube:
If you missed our previous coverage about this indie title, the game draws inspiration from popular movies like Signs and The X-Files. It’s set in Grayswood Farm in 2005, a location plagued by strange phenomena. You step into the shoes of Taylor Fox, a journalist assigned to document the eerie happenings on the farm. Reports of bright lights in the sky, violent behavior in animals, and other odd events are waiting for your investigation. However, you soon find yourself facing horrors far beyond what you anticipated.
The core gameplay revolves around the investigation, which involves “searching for artifacts, reading notes and documents, examining photos, studying audio and video tapes” using various tools. The latest trailer showcases the disturbing and uneasy atmosphere, as the sound of continuous buzzes, the dog’s barking, and the wind chimes’ tinkles make me feel the tension of ominous things that are about to happen.

Other than this new trailer, the developer has also shared new demos to show us the military base scene, the alien attack being caught on camera, as well as infected cattle:
Now that the game has welcomed a publisher and is set to be "coming soon" on Steam, we can likely expect an announcement about the release date. If you haven’t tried out the demo, feel free to download it on Steam.
