This Indie Horror Where You Must Scream Out Loud To Defeat Horrific Creatures Will Be Released In Two Days

THREAT -SCREAM AND ESCAPE- is coming on April 3.

Do you still remember THREAT -SCREAM AND ESCAPE-, a first-person indie horror with realistic graphics that we introduced back in February this year? Great news if you can't wait to give it a try, as the developer C-Route announced that the game is coming out in only two days.

If you missed the previous article, THREAT -SCREAM AND ESCAPE- has an interesting concept that allows players to stun the horrific creatures so they can escape. It is set in a gloomy indoor environment, with the protagonist waking up only to find that they're in a mysterious research facility. To escape from it, you'll need to defeat all the approaching creatures, screaming out loud so they can't move. "Managing when to scream and when to conserve your voice, as well as how loudly you can shout, will be the key to survival." As the game progresses, higher volumes will be needed, and it'll test the limit of your lung capacity to shout out longer.

The game's trailer is filled with tension — as you try to move slowly in the dark without making a sound, a creepy monster on the other side of the corridor fast-crawls toward you as soon as you are spotted. While the heart is pumping rapidly, try to find a perfect time to scare it off.

Of course, if you don't prefer to create loud screams that might disturb neighbors, especially when playing at night, there is a silent mode in the game that doesn't require players to shout loudly.

The release date is slightly delayed from the original March plan, but the wait is worth it. If you don't want to miss out on the game, don't hesitate to wishlist it on Steam to be notified when it's released.
