Try the Demo of This Metroidvania Where Dinos Meet Aliens

Solo developer Albert, a.k.a. Seethingswarm, just announced that the demo version of Primal Planet has been released, inviting players into a beautiful pixelated world equipped with a touching story. 

“Traverse dense forests, sprawling plains, treacherous mountains, and mysterious ocean depths where danger awaits,” the game description reads. As you try to survive on this lush planet filled with various dangerous dinosaurs, crafting is a necessary skill to master. Take advantage of the natural resources to craft tools and weapons to fight and protect yourself, as well as healing mixtures to help you recover from injuries. Along the journey, you can team up with unexpected alliances when figuring out why aliens are present. 

When fighting against ancient beasts and aliens, remember to be strategic in the combats and use some tactics, or even baits or traps, to defeat them. If you prefer not to fight alone, the game also supports local co-op mode, where a friend can join your journey as a little dino companion.
