Renowned Japanese game director Toshiro Tsuchida, the creator of the Front Mission series, said the game is "tense and interesting even before combat engagement."
Kriegsfront Tactics is an upcoming turn-based mecha tactics RPG with retro-style visuals from indie game studio Toge Productions. A few hours ago, it received a new gameplay overview trailer showing all the exciting features.
If you missed our article from last year, Kriegsfront Tactics is set in an alternate 1970s, during a conflict in Southeast Asia. You'll take on the role of a mecha squad commander dispatched behind enemy lines. Your mission involves managing your squad, resources, and mechs while tackling missions that test your morality. The game also offers a mech customization system, where you can alter "your mech’s livery, salvage or swap parts, and equip weapons."
In this brand-new trailer, renowned Japanese game director Toshiro Tsuchida, the creator of the Front Mission series, offers commentary after trying the game's demo. He said that the various commands, such as surveillance and aimed shooting, that are available for each unit, along with creative system and mechanics, "make the game tense and interesting even before combat engagement."
