Gekidan Neko presented a series of wholesome stop-motion-like 3D animations.
Check out this amazing series of wholesome stop-motion-style 3D animations shared over the past few days by Gekidan Neko, a talented 3D Artist and Animator, over on Twitter.
Depicting adorable felt-like kittens hunting a mouse and carrying around an enormous fish, the animations were made using Blender, a free and open-source 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and VFX software.
To achieve the kittens' knitted appearance, Gekidan utilized the needle-felt modifier in Woolly, Rahul "DoubleGum" Parihar's fully procedural knitting shader for image textures and/or UV-unwrapped objects that allows you to make your models look like they are made out of yarn.
