Feel the wanderlust and adventurous spirit with The Lost Tower by Florent Lebrun.
Take a look at this beautiful short film, The Lost Tower, made by 3D Artist Florent Lebrun with Blender, giving off the vibes of Studio Ghibli's Porco Rosso.
The film shows a fascinating adventure of a sea pilot flying over the unexplored vast sea space, looking for a forgotten fortress. Appealing cartoon painterly-style visuals created in a warm color palette, together with a fairytale-like soundtrack, perfectly convey the atmosphere of an inspiring adventure in uncharted lands, provoking a sense of wanderlust and anticipation of discoveries.
As stated by the artist, music and sound design were created by Paris-based composer Louis Lacoste, who previously worked for media and advertising, while Concept Artist and Designer Pierre Lazarevic helped with the title design.
Before, Florent Lebrun unveiled a Blender test animation:
Another Blender-made movie, Flow, recently received The Golden Globes, which became the film's 50th award and earned two Oscar nominations.
