Yukikaze's FFR-41MR's Animated Cockpit Made In Blender

Kwai-Meng Leong offered a closer look at the modular fighter jet.

Kwai-Meng Leong, a 3D Artist with a passion for military and mecha designs, is currently working on a detailed model of the FFR-41MR Mave from Yukikaze, a Japanese military sci-fi novel series adapted into an anime in the early 2000s, renowned for its intense air combat scenes, which were created with the help from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.

This modular jet features a unique cockpit that can be fully detached. Take a look at the finished animation and some early versions of the model below:
