There is a lot to admire in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and its VFX is definitely on this list. Thanks to the game's Lead VFX Artist Anton Pasichnyk, we can now enjoy its epic destructions and lightning bolts made with Unreal Engine up close.
Have a look at the power lines falling because of the chaos Pasichnyk's effects cause. The artist worked on their simulations, particles, and sequences, turning the city into a true catastrophe.
