The latest version introduces the ability to create custom lights, add effects in the viewport, and use ZRemesher.
As part of its spring release, Maxon launched Forger 2023.3, an update to its sculpting app for iPad.
The latest version adds the ability to create custom directional, point, and spot lights that can cast shadows. Additionally, the Color Picker now allows you to pick light colors according to their temperature.
Another new feature is Viewport VFX, which lets you add real-time effects like Ambient Occlusion, Depth of Field, Bloom, Chromatic Aberration, Grain, and Vignetting.
Finally, Maxon integrated ZBrush's ZRemesher which will help you manually direct new topology using guides or painting density maps.
Forger 2023.2 is available for iPadOS 15.0+ for free, limited to three active files. If you want to lift the limit and unlock a live link to Cinema 4D, it will cost you $1.99/month or $14.99/year.
