Samurai Cat Brought to Life in Stop Motion-Like Blender Animation

Rodrigo Sauré used Ian Higginbotham's concept.

Now that's a movie I'd like to watch: check out Rodrigo Sauré's awesome Blender animation that looks like a stop motion sequence.

The samurai cat here is based on concept art by Ian Higginbotham, another talented artist whose work we've seen in Sauré's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles project.

The cat was rendered with Blender 4.3's Cycles, and you'll get another look at the beautiful work when Sauré shares more renders and a black-and-white version later.

Meanwhile, you can visit his X/Twitter to admire the wonders of Blender.
