Michelle Arreola reimagined Yamada2's illustration with Maya, ZBrush, and Blender.
Michelle "MichiRain" Arreola, a 3D Character Modeler specializing in stylized sculpts, continues to impress us with her outstanding ability to turn 2D concepts into 3D models while preserving their original 2D charm, showcasing a stunning cartoony recreation of Mavis Dracula from the Hotel Transylvania series.
Described as a "quick practice" 3D model by the creator, the artwork was started last year for Halloween and has recently been revisited and completed by Michelle. Featuring striking outlines and shading that give it a hand-drawn appearance, the piece was brought to life using the artist's go-to combination of tools, namely ZBrush, Maya, and Blender. The original illustration the model is based on was created by Digital Artist Yamada2.
