Delicious Apple Pie Made with 3ds Max, Substance 3D Painter & RealityCapture

Pete Mc Nally has presented another great creation.

Take a look at this tasty apple pie created by 3D artist Pete Mc Nally using 3ds Max, Substance 3D Painter and Sampler, RealityCapture, and Marmoset Toolbag.

And if it's not atmospheric enough for you, here is a retro look at the scene:

The artist shared that he made the project in January when he was clearing out the press. "This pie was past the expiry date and had some blue mouldy bits on top, not pleasing to look at but the clone brush in Substance Painter helped a lot. The top crust had collapsed and had cracked and the apple filling had kind of blended with the softer pastry, I thought it would be an interesting texturing challenge to recreate with PBR materials."

It is not the only food item in Mc Nally's collection; you can find this and more on his ArtStation page.
