For now, the AR headset works with Unity.

Apple has been partnering with Unity on support for its Vision Pro AR headset from the start, and last week, the engine finally received the full support of visionOS, so Unity Pro, Enterprise, and Industry users can build AR/VR experiences easily.

Many people have since been wondering if Unreal Engine, another extremely popular game tool, will ever get the same, and it seems they're in luck. On UE forums, a member of the staff revealed that Epic Games is planning to ship experimental support for Vision Pro’s Full Immersion Style in Unreal Engine 5.4.

"While we’re evaluating support for Progressive and Mixed Immersive Spaces (Shared Space), it is entirely possible for you trailblazers out there to modify the UE source and add your own support for these other modalities."

Meanwhile, first Vision Pro users have received their headsets and shared their gaming experiences. If you decide to use it outside, be warned that it looks kind of funny.
