2018 God of War Will Run on Valve's Steam Deck

That's according to Ex-President of SIE Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida.

Many gamers nowadays are waiting for Valve's handheld PC Steam Deck's fast-approaching release, wondering what games will be playable on the device. Thanks to Shuhei Yoshida, Ex-President of SIE Worldwide Studios for Sony Interactive Entertainment, it is now known that Steam Deck's software can handle 2018's God of War, recently ported to PC. Yoshida has shared a tweet, showing the game running on the handheld, proving that it will be, indeed, possible to run the game on it and that the upcoming console is powerful enough to handle massive AAA titles.

Previously, the first verified games for Steam Deck were revealed, and they included such popular games as Portal 2, Dark Souls III, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Death Stranding, and many others. The list has been shared by SteamDB, which confirmed that a total of 38 Steam games are now Steam Deck verified games.
