Adobe Is Bringing Its Generative AI Tool Firefly to Video Production

Change the color, text, and sound of your videos.

Adobe has announced its plan to integrate Firefly, a family of generative AI models, into video production. Soon, Adobe’s video, audio, animation and motion graphics design apps should get the tool to help you work with content.

"We are truly in the golden age of video — short-form video is ubiquitous in news, social media, and entertainment. And, insatiable demand, multiplying channels, and globally distributed teams make it extra challenging to scale the production of high-quality creative work efficiently."

The company is exploring the idea of text-to-color enhancements to change color schemes, time of day, or even the seasons in already-recorded videos. You will also be able to generate royalty-free music and sound effects as well as fonts, text effects, graphics, and logos.

Firefly is going to provide its script and B-roll capabilities to accelerate pre-production, production and post-production workflows. The tool can also be used as an assistant to help you master new skills and accelerate processes.

The new features will be introduced later this year. Meanwhile, you can apply for a closed beta, read about Firefly here, and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
