At the beginning of March, we reported that Toys for Bob, the studio you may know for developing Skylanders, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, which had been part of Activision for 19 years, left the studio to explore new opportunities.

We also mentioned that the developer was reportedly up for a partnership with Microsoft. According to the latest information, it seems that Toys for Bob has reached an agreement with the tech giant for the next game.

Based on the Windows Central report, sources familiar with a recent Xbox townhall meeting shared that Matt Booty revealed that an agreement had been finalized for Toys for Bob's first game as an independent studio. While Booty didn't confirm the specific details of the game, he reportedly mentioned that it would "be similar to games Toys for Bob has made in the past."
