Graphics Development Manager at Unity Technology

As a Graphics Engineering Manager, you will be in an outstanding position working alongside other graphics teams in Unity to improve the quality of the rendering systems, and the performance of cross-platform high-level graphics architecture.

This role is primarily people-focused, but will also require hands-on technical leadership. The right person will help the team attract and retain high-quality engineering talent. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Take ownership of and drive the technical strategy and roadmap of the team
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and architecture teams across the platform and graphics organizations
  • Communicate your team’s vision internally and externally to various partners
  • Support the members of your engineering team as they advance in their career goals

What the team is looking for 

  • Experience leading a team
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Understanding of the modern engine systems and rendering architectures and experience working on real-world productions or large multi-platform engine
  • Past experience as an engineer, and a working familiarity with C++/C#

You might also have

  • Prior experience using the Unity Engine
  • Experience with low-level modern graphics APIs DX12, metal
  • Prior XR development experience and/or passion for VR
