Ian Goodfellow Officially Joins DeepMind

Ian Goodfellow officially announced that he's joining DeepMind where he will serve as a research scientist in Deep Learning team.

Ian Goodfellow is a notable specialist in computer science, engineering, artificial neural networks, and deep learning. In 2014, together with his colleagues, he invented the generative adversarial network (GAN). He also served at Google Brain, where he worked on deep learning doing the basic research and improving the products.

Goodfellow later worked for a year at OpenAI, an AI research and deployment company that works with artificial general intelligence (AGI), and then returned to Google where he served as a research scientist for a little more than two years, after which he joined Apple.
