Strong Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Drive a 39% Increase in CD Projekt Red's Annual Net Profit

Since its launch in 2020, the total revenue generated by Cyberpunk 2077, including sales of Phantom Liberty, has exceeded $752 million.

According to CD Projekt Red's recent report, the maker of Cyberpunk 2077 demonstrates an outstanding performance in terms of both revenue and profit.

In 2023, CD Projekt recorded earnings of 1.23 billion PLN ($308.4 million), marking a 29% increase compared to the previous year, with gaming sales contributing to 85% of the revenue.

It's worth mentioning that Cyberpunk 2077 alone generated 852 million PLN ($213.6 million) last year, which is an 81.5% surge compared to 2022, fueled by the launch of the long-awaited DLC, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

As for The Witcher games, the series made 158.7 million PLN ($39.8 million), which is a 23.7% decline year-on-year.

Speaking of GOG, the store recorded earnings of 234.9 million PLN ($58.8 million) last year, marking a 24.5% revenue growth compared to the previous year.

The total revenue of Cyberpunk 2077 since its 2020 release, including Phantom Liberty sales, has surpassed 3 billion PLN ($752 million), which actually shows how profitable the game and its DLC turned out to be.
