A 3D Tribute to Kurt Cobain Made Entirely With Blender

Stewen Bruneau memorialized the legendary musician with a great full-body 3D model.

In light of the 30th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's passing, 3D Artist and Photographer Stewen Bruneau, a.k.a. ClockworkBricks, has recently immortalized Nirvana's legendary vocalist and songwriter in the digital realm, presenting a highly detailed 3D model of Cobain.

Inspired by the musician's likeness in the Smells Like Teen Spirit official music video, Stewen's recreation of Cobain was made 100% in Blender, a free and open-source 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and VFX software. The artist also noted that Cobain's pose in the model is based on "a couple of pictures of Kurt jumping and his hair doing something similar". Attached below are some of the renders shared by the author, you can check out more by visiting Stewen's Instagram page:

Previously, 3D Character Artist Hadi Karimi also shared a couple of portraits dedicated to the musician, depicting Kurt Cobain with angry and calm facial expressions:
