Final Fantasy veterans received $7 million for a new high profile RPG

Long time veterans of the Final Fantasy series Kazushige Nojima and Hitoshi Sakimoto are working on a new RPG title Zodiac. It is being developed by Kobojo Studio.

Long time veterans of the Final Fantasy series Kazushige Nojima and Hitoshi Sakimoto are working on a new RPG title called Zodiac. It is being developed by Kobojo Studio that is known for the mobile RPG, Mutants: Genetic Gladiators. Nojima and Sakimoto previously worked on Final Fantasy Tactics,Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy VII.

The company from Paris has an office in Scotland and teams in Tokyo and Kyoto who managed to secure additional funding. This money will be spent on the development of Zodiac and several other projects. Kobojo received $7 million in the Series B financing round led by Oxford Capital Partners. The round was organized by a European technology corporate finance boutique, Blueprint Partners.
