Leveraging Cascadeur In A Parkour & Freerun Controller-based UE5 Game

See how Cascadeur was employed to craft parkour animations in Rooftops & Alleys, an upcoming parkour and freerunning Unreal Engine 5-based game aiming to put its own spin on the genre with a unique control scheme.

Solo Game Developer MLMEDIA has shared a demo reel revealing how Cascadeur was used as the animation software to create detailed and exciting animations for the upcoming Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game, promising to be "that game that scratches that itch that other games just don't".

In this fun, action-heavy single-player project, you'll be free to experience multiple maps with dynamic weather to free roam and challenge yourself while listening to catchy background music produced by MLMEDIA as well. Rooftops & Alleys aims to provide a unique take on the genre with its own control mechanics, requiring a controller to play, which is certainly intriguing, tricking, and scoring system.

Currently, the game is being developed for PC, with the intent of releasing on consoles upon official release later on. Rooftops & Alleys is set to launch in Early Access on May 21.
