Quantic Dream's Publishing Label Presented Two New Games

Underwater adventure Under The Waves and time-shifting action Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior.

At Summer Games Fest, Quantic Dream announced its new publishing label, Spotlight by Quantic Dream, and presented two games – Under The Waves and Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior.

Under The Waves is a narrative-driven adventure game developed by Parallel Studio, exploring grief and humanity's impact on nature.

"Set in the depths of the North Sea in a techno-futuristic 1970s, professional diver Stan is struggling to overcome a life-changing loss and embrace a new future. The isolation of the deep sea is a fitting manifestation of his state of mind, and as Stan retreads further into his self-imposed solitude, he starts to experience strange events far beneath the waves. Stuck between life and death, Stan will have to make the most significant choice of his existence."

Under The Waves is set to release on August 29, 2023, for PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X/S & Xbox One, and PC.

Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is a hack'n'slash game developed by Sand Door Studio. You play as Imë, Lysfanga of the New Kingdom, protector of the realm. Gifted with powers from the Goddess of Time, you can rewind time in combat to summon clones of your past selves to help you save your world.

The game is set to launch this year on PC.

Spotlight by Quantic Dream is dedicated to supporting the studios it works with from the early conceptual stages through to the international commercial release of their creations and providing financing and production support, artistic and technical advice, and the sharing of its expertise in user testing, quality assurance, and localization.
